New Water Heater Installation in New Rochelle
This project involved the new installation of a 50-gallon Rheem water heater at a residential property in Greenwich, CT. As part of the installation, an expansion tank was added to provide additional protection and extend the life of the water heater. The installation was completed as a Rheem replacement, with labor covered by Rheem and the customer purchasing the expansion tank.
Our team repiped both the hot and cold water lines, replaced the existing ¾-inch shutoff valve, and installed a mixing valve to ensure consistent and safe water temperatures throughout the home. After installation, the system was fully purged of air, followed by comprehensive safety and performance testing to confirm proper operation. All parts supplied and installed by RPL are backed by a 1-year limited warranty, providing the homeowner with added peace of mind.
Project location: New Rochelle
Estimated budget: $3500
